Festival of Darkness: Producing Arkansas’s Largest Halloween-Themed Beer Festival

Festival of Darkness is Arkansas’s most anticipated beer and entertainment festival, held across two city blocks at Lost Forty Brewing. The event brings together 35+ local and regional breweries, food vendors, live entertainment, and a main stage for regional musicians.
My Role
As creative project manager, I own the festival from concept through execution. That means budget, permitting, logistics, and customer service, along with coordinating more than 25 vendors covering staging, AV, food trucks, photographers, rentals, street closures, security, and performance artists. On event day, I lead a team of 30+ hourly staff to keep operations running smoothly from open to close.
Results
In 2023, the festival welcomed 35 visiting breweries, drew a record 1,600+ attendees, and grew revenue significantly year over year, cementing its place as a highlight of the regional craft beer calendar.
